Tool calls now draw on a weekly credit allowanceEach organization has a weekly allowance of credits, and each tool call spends credits according to how much work it does. Your agent can see the balance and what each tool costs at any time, so it can plan its work to fit, and it is told clearly when credits run out.Status: Closed testing · Invitation only · Tool interfaces may change

What’s changing

As we move towards an open beta, we are introducing a weekly allowance for usage of the MCP server. Usage is monitored per organization, and based on a credits system, with different tools costing different amounts of credits. Credits reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC.

Ask your agent about credit usage

To help you and your agent manage usage, the MCP server will now report everything you need to know about your organization’s credit balance, how many credits each tool costs, and when the allowance resets. This will typically be picked up by your agent at the beginning of a session, but you can also ask for it directly:
“How many credits do we have left this week, and what does each tool cost?”
Credit information comes via the get_orgs_and_workspaces tool.

What do I get charged for?

Credits are only spent when a call succeeds. Any call that fails, returns an error, or times out is not counted against your allowance, so retrying after a problem doesn’t cost twice. Some calls are always free:
  • Discovery: Listing your organizations and workspaces, and checking your credit balance
  • Paging: Fetching the next page of results a tool has already returned. Only the first page of a listing is charged
