If a lookalike model is no longer needed, you can delete it from the Permutive dashboard.

How to Delete

There is no confirmation step. Selecting Delete removes the model straight away, and deletion is permanent.
If any lookalike cohorts still depend on the model, the deletion is blocked and the dashboard lists the cohorts you need to remove first. The same restriction applies when editing a model.

Impact of Deletion

When you delete a lookalike model:
  • Retraining Stops: The model will no longer be retrained weekly.
  • Active Campaigns: Because you delete the model’s lookalike cohorts first, any campaign in your ad server or DSP that targeted those cohorts stops receiving new users for those segments.
Ensure that no active campaigns are relying on the lookalike cohorts associated with the model before deleting them.
